Romano Ian is a designer with a focus on urban strategy, geospatial analysis, and creative technologies. Currently he lives in Los Angeles, California. He holds a Master of Science in the Design of Cities from SCI-Arc (Southern California Institute of Architecture) and Bachelor of Architectural Studies with a concentration in Urbanism from Carleton University.
Ian was previously an Urbanism Research Fellow & Research Coordinator for the Carleton Urban Research Lab at the Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism and is a former research assistant with the Carleton Immersive Media Studio.
He’s a fan of card games, extremely over-buttered popcorn, and in-flight meals. Has a playlist for every occasion and has seen the original Transformers movie a few too many times. He’s previously lived in Ottawa, the Philippines and in Northern Canada.
